CO2 Sensor for obsolete SyxthSense and Produal CDR-MOD

  • 03.09.2026

Senticon has been listening to customers and introduced new CDR04 Modbus and BACnet CO2 sensors. These have been designed to provide direct replacements for SyxthSense and Produal CDR-MOD and CDR-BAC CO2 sensors. The CDR04 CO2 sensors have practically the same input/output wiring connections, from user interface perspective can support LCD and multiple buttons for override conditions.

The LCD display can be used as a traffic light alarm sensor indicating normal state, amber and red states.

On Modbus models we have introduced duplicate registers that have the same register numbers and scaling as with the CDR-MOD. This allows the CDR04 sensors to be easily used to replace CDR-MOD Modbus CO2 sensors and ther are no requirements to modify the existing Modbus registers on the BMS.

The CDR04 sensors upgrade also the products to the latest designs, as the CDR04 sensors have colour LCD display, extra 60V protection on the communication bus and high 30ppm accuracy CO2 sensors.

The CDR04 sensors have 3 Analogue 0-10Vdc outputs for control and for operation as network IO, 2 x 24Vac triacs and 2 universal inputs that can be configure digital and resitive input functionality.

The CDR04 sensors have also built-in 4-stage temeprature control and CO2 control logic. They can also operate as Maximum Demand VAV controllers.
